Bill Grahams' Archives: Wolfgang's Vault
A pretty amazing article in today's Wall Street Journal -- "Music Stash Recalls When Rock Was Young".
The article reports on rock promoter Bill Graham's archives that are just now fully coming to light.
Turns out that Bill Graham had a warehouse with 20 million items of San Francisco rock concert memorabilia from 1966 to 1999.
More interesting are the 5,000 concert recordings of Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, The Who, Led Zeppelin and on & on.
Now. There is video as well, including 1970 Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young concerts.
Just a ton of amazing stuff. See Wolfgang's Vault and the Neil Young page.
