Nicolette Larson is best remembered for her 1979 cover of Neil Young's "Lotta Love". Sadly, Larson died in 1997 at the age of 45 after suffering a cerebral edema.

Did everyone but me know that Neil Young wrote this song?
I once heard from a reliable source that Neil Young basically gave this song to Nicolette Larson to record, then we he released it she sued him over it. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Just curious.
