"I am pleased to see that several of you writing on this site are not as demanding of Neil as elsewhere on the 'net. No one should feel entitled to what people keep referring to as 'the archives'. They are 'his archives' until he releases them. It reminds me of when I saw Greendale for the first time. When I got up to find another spot towards the end of the classic CH set a fella had the nerve to say, 'don't worry, he OWES us about two hours'. As if Neil hadn't just put on an incredible show of all new music complete with stage act! A lot of so-called fans don't get it."

also something interesting i noted was that on the nitzsche biography on the dvd, it mentions that film footage of him scoring his songs for Harvest will feature on 'Neil Young Archives Vol. 1'. EXCITING!

This appears to be the exact same one that is on "Tonight's The Night". C'mon Neil...stick a crowbar in the vault doors and let the music flow, man. The sheer quantity of material that has been bootlegged for years leads me to believe that you can take your fans to a higher place. Oh well, it's a start.

Too often I have found myself thinking..."I don't think I like this song", only to find later that I "grow" and I really like it. We have to grow and allow Neil the room to take us on the trip.
