Roy Keane - Neil is a well known supporter of the Red and Whites. Good luck on Saturday Lads!

glad to see the new tunes are staying in rotation. means he likes 'em. at least for now. amazing how the last decade is basically not represented in the setlists. no S&G, LF, ARP?, GD, PW, LWW. there are some gems on those albums that would be cool to hear. i am thinking, after the garden, painter, good to see you, etc.

An astonishing, high energy, high volume piece of magic delivered by Neil & his band ... blazing from the beginning with no let-up throughout ... a somewhat unruly crowd on the floor but the sheer intensity of the music eventually controlled & contained everyone within its sonic embrace ... so the peace and love vibes began to mount and hover over everyone & everything ... full house, big arena, mostly 20-30 year olds, lots of old freaks, packed too tight to dance but that would have been awesome if the floor had opened up to the music and made space for some movement ... Neil at high finest. wb

Yeah, it looks like he's really into his archives project... I'd love to hear the painter, lookin' for a leader, and no wonder. Still, I've only been to one Neil concert, last year in NYC(I'm only 19), and I'd love to hear him play Old Man, Heart of Gold, Cortez, Hey Hey My My, Love and Only Love, and my favorite song ever, the electric Cowgirl in the Sand.

So true 9:33. The last decade has SO MANY GEMS. Why are they buried? He could do a whole concert of the last decade and I'd be absolutely thrilled. I'm the Ocean, Big Time, No Hidden Path, My Heart, Scattered, Scenery, Good to See You, Without Rings, Goin Home, Distant Camera, Red Sun, She's a Healer(!), Differently, The Painter, No Wonder, Bandit, Fallen Angel, Gateway of Love, Be With You... It just goes on. What a rockin show that would be. C'mon Neil, why not? A recent retrospective.
Maybe it's because those songs need Crazy Horse and he seems to be boycotting them at the moment. Too bad... Maybe someday.

And don't forget Slowpoke, Out of Control and Looking Forward. Those gems got buried twice.
Not that there's anything wrong with the old songs he's playing. Love them too.

Great show from up on the balcony, i've seen him 3 times in the last 26 years and this was a tight performance. The guy on his T-shirt was Jim Croce, another old timer songwriter/performer.

I was at the concert last night in Vancouver and this was the 6th time I've seen Neil live. I think this was the best show of all. I thought the set list was great. He simply has too large a catalogue to play eveyone's favorites but this set list was a great cross section. He also has never rocked better or harder. I give the show a Rockin' ten out of ten.

on the Day In The Life video that was liked here, you will see Pegi at 8:22 point off stage to the front row. She pointed at me and my buddy. We were wearing "Cousin Marcus" tour shirts and she was attracted to them and tried to point it out to Neil. He may have glanced, but not much more. She gave us a huge smile! Thanks Pegi!

The show rocked, although I believe the Everett RITFW, was superior.

well, I love Neil just as much as you all do, and I was so pumped to be seeing him in Van for the first time, I could not believe the set list that he performed that night, just the way I wanted it, it was a dream come true, but I was very, very mad at a couple of things, first the security guards fucked things by being a distraction, by always shining the flash lights and escorting fans out just for pot,, come on, it's a Neil show, not neil diamond, last dissopointed at the crowd around me, very rude 105 1st row all around, trying to get security guards to tell people to sit down for dancing and enjoying the vibes, a poor girl beside me was harrased the whole show by dancing and enjoying the music, then when keep on rocking comes on, she got booted in the but, feel down and was so embarrased, that she left crying, poor girl I feel for her, this one goes out to the bully the made her night horrible, all and all, thank you neil and pegi, amazing///

I'd have to say it was the most outstanding concert performance my husband and I have seen in our 50-odd years. Set list was a brilliant combination of new, old, hard rockin', spiritual Mother Earth, still bringing messages, still having fun. Amazing energy output, great voice, great guitar, great work by the other bandmembers, too--what rejuvenation after Neil's prior health issue. The old songs didn't just slide out; they were played with the same great heart. Loved seeing all the youth--just proves what an icon he is. Couldn't believe he followed the wild electric playing of Cowgirl in the Sand with even greater energy of Rockin' In the Free World. Amazing. Too great a catalogue to pick everybody's favourites, but we thought this was a great legacy collection. Thanks for the video here of the Beatle's ovation Day in the Life. What a great way to end a superlative evening.

I bought 4 tickets at $250.00 each and expected to have an excellent night with my wife. We have a 10 month old son and this was our first night out since finding out we were going to have a baby. With my wife's childhood friend and husband with us, we thought the night was going to be great until my friend and i decided to go out for a smoke. We asked the lady at the door where the designated smoke area was and the security officer there started yelling at us. We explained that we did not know we couldn't smoke to which i guess the security "Kid" was sensitive too and resulted in us being kicked out. I had my friend's pregnant wife's popcorn in my hand at the time we were kicked out for asking a question. Neil Young, rock on and Orca bay, your head of management should take the time to teach the security that it is o.k for the guests to ask questions and not be offended if they don't have the answers but to point the fans in the right direction to where they can obtain the needed information.

I think security guards have nothing to do with Neil Young. They are GM Place's guards or probably hired by the local organizers of the show.

By the way, everyone tells the same thing to you after every single show they've seen but I'm being honest here, this was the best show I have ever seen. The setlist was wonderfully picked and Neil Young was simply brilliant.

I'm sorry if i have been misunderstood about the incident. I think Neil Young is great and it had nothing to do with him or his music. I only wish i could have seen the concert and i would have if only the security at the venue had proper training. I only hold Orca Bay responsible for what happened.

The first concert I ever saw was Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young on July 10, 1974 at the Pacific Coliseum. I have since, seen dozens and dozens of concerts, including the Who, Stones, Clapton, and most of the great bands. He stole the show back then and was better this time around. Without a doubt, this concert makes my top 5 list.
