Just the titles themselves are worth a read:
Good stuff.

Get Weld is a Neil Young tribute band from Canada. They are based out of Newmarket and Peterborough, both in Ontario. From the band's website:
We also build our own equipment, wherever we can. So come see one of our shows, you may just see something blow up (due to extreme levels of rock)."
Here's something Thrasher recently stumbled upon, something called Fanlisting for Neil Young.
So what's this all about? It's another way for the Neil Young Nation to unite! Web designer Raine writes:
"I began to listen to Neil Young when my other main huge influence, Bob Dylan was really changing my life. Bob Dylan and Neil Young are really my main two; they're my biggest influences. It was through Dylan that Neil came into my life, and it's come to the point where to ask me what Young means to me is the same as asking me to read my diary to you. Neil touched my life through his love for nature, his gentle words, his soft, delicate to the touch voice and simple imagery that can change your way of thinking."
Broken Arrow: The Neil Young Tribute is scheduled to play this week on Nov. 20th at Neil Young Day in Rome, Italy.

The Live 8 concerts ended with Neil Young and an all-star finale of "Rockin' In The Free World". Quite a fitting conclusion for a day in music history. The Live 8 concert performances are available for streaming on the AOL network. Neil's entire setlist including the new song "When God Made Me" is hosted along with all of the other performances like Pink Floyd's sublimely blissfully beautiful 20 minute set.
Neil Young is generating discussion among model train buffs.
This time Neil appears to be operating under the handle "Clyde Coil" in a Lionel Train promotional video filmed using Neil's train layout.
Train fans are somewhat perplexed by what Neil is trying to accomplish. Follow the discussion link above and try and figure it out!

Don't Be Denied.
Crazy Horse bassist Billy Talbot has a new album out with his band called Alive In The Spirit World. Billy's site has bonus MP3 downloads and video of a 10-minute performance of Billy Talbot Band's "Dreamer". Very cool.
Neil Young's 1973 "Time Fades Away" is one of the most remarkable live albums ever recorded. Certainly at the time of release, it was almost unprecedented for an artist to release a live concert recording of previously unreleased material. Long out of print on vinyl, still unavailable on CD in the early 21st century and widely bootlegged similar to the original "Missing 6", the album is considered to be the "Holy Grail" of all Neil Young albums.
Attention must be paid. Sign the Release "Times Fades Away" Petition Today! Thanks!
Some amazing photos of a reproduction of Neil's guitar "Old Black". The replica is detailed to the exact wear marks of Neil's trusty Gibson. Scroll down for photos.
Definitely a labor of love.

Word from MoMo that Les Gens Ordinaires is still alive and playing. As some of you may know, there's a French Neil Young list called Les Gens Ordinaires (translation of Ordinary People). They used to have their annual fest and a dedicated evening to play together in britanny bars. This year was at Pontrieux. Here are 2 albums with some pictures.
