Neil Young, Michael Moore, Fahrenheit 9/11 Soundtrack Music & "Rockin in the Free World" Lyrics
- "Michael Moore inexplicably edited out the most telling line - "Don't feel like Satan but I am to them" - which could be applied flexibly to Osama's hatred of the U.S. or the Right Wing's demonization of everyone they disagree with. Instead, he combined the beginning of the first verse with the end of the second verse, the one about the crack-addict and her child, so they came out:
- 'There are colours on the street
Red, white and blue
People shufflin' their feet
People sleepin' in their shoes
But there's a warnin' sign on the road ahead
There's a lot of people sayin' we'd be better off dead
That's one more kid that will never go to school

The Debate Over Who is Really the Godfather of Grunge?
- "I wouldn't say that there even IS only one godfather of grunge.
I wouldn't call grunge a musical genre either.Grunge is just a buzzword, a label given to a new style of music that in essence, wasn't really new at all.Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Black Sabbath, Sex Pistols, The Pixies... all revolutionary artists in their own right, pave the way for yet another rock revolution. Nirvana. Then KoRn, to a lesser extent. Each and every one would not exist without the previous eras that influenced their sound. Even Elvis didn't start from scratch. Timing is important too - if KoRn were (somehow?) around in the 60's, they probly would've been laughed at. Who's next? Maybe they're jammin in their garage, writing their breakthru hit right now...
